I soooooooooooo could've done without seeing that, gah, i'm not even gonna watch the rest of it.

Wow, I thought I saw perversity at the Berlin Gay Pride Parade, but dang.

If hetrosexuals had the same kind of parade, and did the same things those idiots do, there'd be tons of arrests for public indecency! Some people's children have no idea how to behave.

I blame it all on lack of strong family upbringing, not the homosexuality part, but the acting like an idiot part!
I have to question whether or not these videos should even be linked on here, not just because they've got some very objectionable content that goes beyond mainstream vulgarity and innuendo, but at the very least it should be known that the link to this "Goodfella Johnny" who is posting this video is a supporter of SSPX and advocates staying home in lieu of going to a Novus Ordo mass. He posts about it right in his channel.
I think that this kind of information should be posted here at Phatmass, and on other Catholic websites.

The Oakland Diocese (i.e., the SF East Bay area) is as bad as the Archdiocese of San Francisco, and in some cases it may be even worse. Ultimately, this type of information should not be covered up, but should exposed to the light of day, to the Light of Christ, so that a real reform can take place.

It should come as no surprise that Archbishop George Hugh Niederauer of San Francisco, (Pelosi's own bishop) has thus far made no comment about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stepping out of her political role and completely misrepresented the teaching of the Catholic Church in regard to abortion.

Given the procrastination, I would imagine the smilie will express my reaction when I read it as well.

I never said that this kind of information shouldn't be posted here. But I reserve my right to express my personal opinion that the level of vulgarity used is questionable to warrant a direct linking of the videos as opposed to a PM (though that borders on subjectivity and is at the discretion of mods. I'm not going to make any more of an issue of it.) And I still feel that people should be warned that the person using this video is SSPX which was why I mentioned it.

I live in the area where these things are going on, and so I stand by my opinion. That said, the fact that the creator of the video is a member of the SSPX to me is irrelevant, since the information he presents is accurate.

I find it sad that the bishop has been disrespectful to God.

We'll just have to agree to disagree, then. The video itself IS accurate but it's posted by someone who is in the wrong and I felt it should be mentioned lest someone coming here viewing the videos from this person's channel gets the idea that they are correct in other areas of information. So it's been said and there's not really much more to be said.

I think most people can figure things out for themselves and don't need to be spoon fed everything. We both agree that the video linked in this thread is accurate, and I am fine with letting people judge the other materials presented by the author of this particular video on a case by case basis.

I suppose the fact that I have been to Church in both Oakland and San Francisco where the most horrible things have happened during the Mass (e.g., priests giving homilies about accepting the gay lifestyle as normal, homilies stating that adultery is not wrong in every particular circumstance, "clown Masses," etc.) has made it so that I want people to know what is going on in this area, so that they can defend themselves and their children should they ever visit here, while also helping them (through the dissemination of information) to prevent similar problems from becoming normative where they live. To be forewarned is to be forearmed.

I do understand where you are coming from. The worst mass I ever attended was in Berkeley. All I am saying is that I just felt it prudent to warn people about this guy's other statements. (I speak of the person posting the video, not the same person as one who made the video.) Nobody need feel demeaned or spoon fed. They can always just ignore me if they think I'm doing that. I had some concerns about things the poster wrote elsewhere and thought people should know, left it to the discretion of the mods, and that's all there is to it. You don't agree with me nor find my concerns or opinions relevant. I get it, no need to beat me over the head about it. I respect your opinion. I have said my peace, and I really don't feel like discussing this further with you because I don't see what more can be accomplished from doing so.

I was also going to add that it goes to show what a sad state of affairs it is that the church has gone so badly off the deep end in places like the bay area -- so it does not surprise me that people like SSPX supporters would rather stay home. :weep:
