now by that are you saying that your insurance should go up so that it is equal with a guys?
The question was posed as a social question, not a financial question, and I was answering it as a social question.

With that being said, I will humbly admit that I am unaware of insurance and finances etc. But may I ask for you to elaborate on that? Because I'm curious now. I have heard that women, even if they hold the same positions as men, are paid less. I have no sources on this, I just remember hearing it in one of my classes.
Of course, if you are a Christian, you are subordinate to the man Jesus Christ, and you should be very interested in marriage because the Church is married to Christ, giving our bodies to Him as He gives His Body to us.
I have no problem being subordinate to Jesus. ;)
In the real work world you will be subordinate to many different people, men and women, so get used to it now. There is nothing wrong with being subordinate to a good husband, as long as you do a good job of picking him. Generally the woman runs the household, its this domain the man is subordinate to the woman. :). In a good marriage you are both busy taking care of each other, that you forget to worry about " who is in charge."
But in the end, when I get home every night, I'm the one who is "in charge" of the entire domain. :smokey:

a teenage girls insurance is lower than a teenage guys because woman are known to be more careful while driving.
We tend to hold onto our head when we drive (unless of course there is a really good sale lol!!!)

And the thing about women being paid less, if a child is sick who is the parent that most likely skips work???the mom!
Who is the one that gets maternity leave??? the mom.
Now it is obvious that this is a tricky problem.
but the mom is more willing to skip work to take care of her children! So while women may get paid less in some cases they don't work as much as men! You should get paid for what you work totally! Though again in some cases, women don't work as hard in a way as men.

I mean NO offense to anyone. if something i said seems offensive please let me know so that i can clarify it-thanks! Pax~ :D

Though if you are by yourself its a pretty lonely domain.

I might have heard of this somewhere.

But what about the ladies who aren't married and don't have kids? They won't be taking sick days to watch their kids (seeing as they have none) and they won't be taking maternity leaves. ;) And what about the men who take off to watch their kids?

Um. What.

I actually left my first college because of how much I detested the dorm life. When I finished with my classes, and had my dinner with friends, I wanted to retreat to my room and enjoy my personal time alone. Even though my roomie was a sweetheart, the fact is that I had no alone time when I really wanted it - night. At home, I tend to lock (figuratively speaking, I don't have a lock on my door lol) myself in my room for good amounts of time. It's just the way I am. :idontknow: Of course spouses give each other space, but I would prefer my own bed and my own room. The single life just really appeals to me. I have my friends, and my family, and my activities, but in the end I have my solitude. I hope that sort of explains it.

well yea that is true! And like i said before you should get paid for what you do!
we are looking at majority just like in the case of insurance. some women are way more dangerous drivers than men but the major majority women are safer drivers

Though again in some cases, women don't work as hard in a way as men.

Um. What.

um yea i phrased that really weird! i do not mean that! I meant that women are way more easily distracted than men which in the business world is not always a good thing. but i mean whatever! this all the major majority and if you aren't that that's cool God made you very special and you alone can determine your vocation! :)

Maybe God is calling you to the consecrated or religious life?

Again I say - "What?" Where are you getting this from?

Why are you rolling your eyes?

I don't think God would call me like that, I'm not nearly holy enough.

True. Women don't have the physical strength that men do, so men do more hard labor than women. I see more men firefighters than women. More men in heavy contruction. More men in other work which requires a lot of physicality.

Nothing wrong with that. It's just biology. In my Dad's day, more women were teachers than men, and ran schools. Perhaps it has something to do with women and communication.

Oh I totally didn't look at it that way.

But then the poster said that women are "more easily distracted" - hence confusion.
