I Am Really Strung Out

Ash Wednesday

The priest that is supposed to marry us has been really hard to get a hold of. We have 2 weeks until the wedding and while I know priests are busy people, I'm getting really frustrated and trying not to panic. Please pray that this all gets resolved soon. :sadder:

After this is all over, I'm never getting married and going through this process ever again in my entire lifetime. Once is enough.

I second that. After our wedding finally got done, we knew it was to the death because no way either of us was going to go through that again.

Will be praying, hon! I promise on your wedding day none of the mishaps or problems you have had will matter. And the honeymoon is like a big vacation away from it all. Turn your cellphones off!!!

We're not really going on a honeymoon. Not right away anyway. Staying the night at a hotel after the reception here and that's about it. Considering how much I will pay for the spouse visa, trip back to the U.S. to have a reception with my clan back home, we just couldn't be bothered right now and he has to consider how much time he has off from work for the trip back home and trip to spend time with his family on mainland Europe for Christmas.

Next year we are going to go on a nice trip somewhere. :deal:

It is easy in Los Vegas!

Elvis is on call 24/7 to marry you :D

Believe me that one night away will be worth all of it lol

And on top of all that, it looks like you forgot to send an invitation to your favorite webmaster. You need to get on the ball.

If I wasn't a Catholic, I probably WOULD have ended up at one of those crazy Vegas Elvis churches in some parallel universe.

I think someday when we have a renewal of vows or a special blessing on our anniversary, we'll definitely do something really wacky and over the top for the party afterwards. Like a Velvet Elvis reception and a twinkie wedding cake.

Wow that cake screams of "I shouldn't be wearing white and you can't afford no ring."

But in a really good way :)
