The Sandwich Fair is coming up...(no it is not a fair of sandwiches...it is a fair IN Sandwich. No, they are not named after sandwiches.) And for the past three or four years (I think four) I have entered photos. I have not one yet. There is a lot of competition and wowing pictures.

So I have my categories up on the link above. Some have the same titles. If you would like, could you pick you favorite out of those duplicate titles?

If not thanks for reading all that mess.

:)
Meg

MakeYouThink

I'm conflicted between the kids feeding the goats and the old woman doing the knitting.

The other pictures, are nice, but having people in pictures will always bring the audience in more.

Those will both be there

THere is about 20 categories. THe kids feeding the goat will be the farm animal category. The woman knitting is my character study :)

Thank you so much! I was going between the woman knitting and the orange girl for my character study photo.

The woman knitting tells a story behind her eyes. They seem so sad, and that drew me to the picture.

I would want to talk to that woman for hours to learn all I could about life from her!

Great photos, all. I had a tough time selecting only a few. I wish I could get some photography tips from you!

I loved "Water Scenes (2)", "Wild Animal" "Winter Scene", "Patriotic" and "Insects (2)". I also love "Farm Scene" It somehow seems so... austere and simple.

I also liked "Cars" very much. Could you possibly try a lower angle for that one, if that car is still around? :)

If I had to choose a single one, it'd have to be "Patriotic." and the second best one I'd choose would be "Water Scenes (2)."

P.S. You have a Rebel? WOW!

:) That was taken at the Renn Faire near me. The thing about her is that she is in character. So she doesn't talk. And she is actually happy. I think her portrail was of a spider. There were also other "fairy" type people the orange lady was actually a fairy.

Thanks :) The car one was taken about 2 years ago and the guy was making a trip somewhere...to CA or something so I don't have it anymore :( I wasn't use to doing different angles at that time either so I wasn't thinking "out of the box" on that one.

Yep, I have a Rebel :)) It is totally awesome too...very easy to use :)

The nativity had excellent use of backlighting.[/quote]
I think I am going to putthe nativity one in the religious division. It is one of my favorites
