CatholicWing
Dear Phatmass Phorum Friends, Greeting from Pakistan, I am working in my parish as a Catechist. I teach Holy Communion, Confirmation and every day work towards helping Catholics reach their spiritual development. I was wondering if you could send me any scapulars, religious medals and Rosaries. Where I live, the people here rely on these to protect them when they are sick or afraid. These holy items really do work miracles. So, you can imagine how many requests I receive daily from them! I believe they have great faith in God. They believe that these items can help them through the power of God. I remember that Lil Red sent me some of these items a few months ago. I in turn distributed them to those at my parish. So, I hope that the members of this phorum are able to help me. I, as well as the parishioners, would very much appreciate it I will post my website in case anyone is interested in me or my ministry. VeniteAdoremus
Would you accept knotted rosaries? I have a few dozen of those... any specific colours? And do you have a priest handy or do you need them blessed?

Vincent Vega
I think he wants them so that he can give them to his students. I'd imagine Catholic goods are not easy to find in Pakistan, so things like rosaries, which can indeed have miraculous results, are nice to receive from others who can give them. I've talked with Nadeem here before. It seems as though he has a theologically sound ministry going on. mortify
I'm not questioning anyone's ministry. It just seems these sacramentals are being used more like amulets.

You write well every thing. Yes Rosaries and scapulars indeed have miraculous results around the world. We have 10 cities in our parish. As you know and I told you before that I am working in my parish. So these Catholic goods we distribute in all over the parish. I am not only a one person who works on it here I have few more companions who works with me.
Autumn Dusk
this might be a dumb question but aren't sacramentals just like things blessed by a priest? Wouldn't maryknoll or such be able to help you?
