And if that happens, a lot of the health care workers left are those in it for the money (not all, but a lot). And personally, I don't want someone who just cares about money taking care of me! Also, IUI is objectively immoral anyway, because it removes the marital act from the creation of a child. Sex-without-babies* is bad; babies-without-sex is bad. The doctors shouldn't have been offering the treatment in the first place. Indeed, the existence of the treatment itself not only created the problem in the physical sense, but also in the philosophical sense. Because of IUI, the conception of a child has been divorced from the marital union, and reduced to a matter of plumbing.
