at0m1c
Ok, so if I were to download mp3s that would be wrong. Now, if I borrow my friend's CD to rip the songs would that be wrong? I have his permission to do so, and I don't intend to distribute it on the net or anything.
Pontifex
A good rule to follow, is that if burning a CD or songs from a CD is taking money away from the artist than do not do it. The artist needs those sales in order to live. So when we engage in burning to save money, we hurt the artists. On the other hand, if it is something you would have never purchased otherwise, I do not see a problem with that. But you must be honest with yourself and many times we can justify away sin very easily. Peace, Fr. P
