DesiringMore Posted August 14, 2008 Share Posted August 14, 2008 I will be spending 3 months in Colorado...I love hiking, outdoorsy kind of things, and I am a sucker for sunrises and sunsets...anyone live in Colorado or ever been there that could recommend a few places to make sure I visit?? Buena Vista is gorgeous - i hiked my first 14er there this summer - you are heading to one of the most beautiful parts of the country!!! As for suggestions on what to see, i would begin with some of the lighter touristy stuff first while your body adjusts to the altitude, then doing the really fun stuff (like hiking 13ers and 14ers) later... Thank you[/quote] So some things I can think of are hiking the punch bowls. It is absoultely beautiful. Here is the link for where it is by. It is by a castle.
