Dave
This morning I decided to spend the morning in Atlanta, so I took I-75 North. Well, at one point I tried to change lanes. The car almost directly in front of me, which was in the lane I wanted to get in, slowed down, and if I kept going, I'd have hit it. So I instinctively swerved in the opposite direction and lost control. Then my truck, a 1999 Ford Explorer overturned and flipped 5-6 times! By the time it stopped, the truck was on its driver's side, and I unfastened my seat belt and crawled out through the back window, which had been shattered in the crash. And yes, I was hurt. I sustained bruised ribs on my left side, a bruised right shoulder, a huge scratch on my left temple, and scratches on my knees, arms, and hands, but especially my left arm and hand. I spent all day in the emergency room, as they did all sorts of tests just to be on the safe side. And I was finally released this evening. Now I have a couple more things to worry about -- where I'm going to find another car and how bad my injuries will set me back on swimming. But despite everything, I praise and thank God that I'm alive! Edited March 4, 2004 by Dave

Iacobus
God was with you Dave. I had a friend who fliped his car like 6 times into a corn feild last Noverber after he hit a telephone pole at 92 mph. When he stopped his roll nothing was in his car but him and his cell phone. So he could get help. Flips are nasty, I am glad you are okay.

Spiritual_Arsonist
I guess I have an apology to make. While Dave was driving, I was in the passenger side committing acts of spiritual arson, which must have distracted Dave. Sorry Dave!!! :smoker:

IcePrincessKRS
Oh my goodness! Dave I am so glad you're ok! I'll definately be praying for you double time now for the job situation, a new car, and that your injuries heal up quick so you don't have to take much time off swimming. Our Lady must have had her mantle wrapped around you, and God certainly had your guardian angel watching your back! Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
