I also emailed a director of the church music association of america (who knows me) asking him about different sacred music programs and institute

If Catholic U wasn't so expensive.... lol[/quote]
What school do you go to now?

I think that I am probably going to withdraw from Southern Catholic and take classes down here at the community college (if that works out) for this semester and apply to Catholic, Fransican (again), Ave Maria (again), Christendom, Benedictine (again) and any other places that might be good places for me. I will probably have to start as a freshman again because SCC is not accredited. it's not something I praticularly care to do, but, I really don't think I can handle SCC. Maybe I am a coward, I don't know.

I REALLY REALLY want to go to Catholic- they have an amazing sacred music program. I think that it would take a miracle for me to be able to afford it. That said... I know enough leaders of the American (and international, actually) sacred music world that a miracle might actually happen. It's a kind of longshot, but it could.

I will probably take music classe here so that I am prepared to audition for such a course. That is what deterred me from this course two years ago.

Right now, I am trying really hard NOT to think that there is a stalker "running" or "ruining" my life or my school carreer but that rather, this is an oppurtunity to do something I could never do at Southern catholic. I know that had I not gone to southern catholic though, I wouldn't know that I was capable of anything that I now know that I am music-wise.

That siad- before I SCC could get federal money, I took a $5000 loan and if I withdraw from SCC the loan payments become due on the first month after I withdraw. It's probably not a lot of money a month and I have a job here if I decide to stay here so it's probably doable.

But... I could use prayers

Thanks pham.

ouch, i dont blame you for not wanting to withdraw. Pray for guidance, money and patience I suppose. The Lord will provide... Mother Teresa once said He's got lots of money.

if it helps you feel any better its not the stalker who's forcing your hand, its the administration. The stalker is in the wrong, he is harming you, you did everything you can and the administration is acting like it is...probably to keep the "campus saftey" stats up. It is NOT ok for them to do and its really disgusting because if its happened to you its happened to 20 other girls (or even guys). (Only half of people even report crimes, of that half only about 1/5 discuss it farther).

What if it were to happen again? The college would put you in an even worse position. For your sake I'd say get out of there. ALSO! your courses may not have been for naught (if the school is not creditied) CLEP the courses that you did and you can get credit for them for cheap...often around $50, I think.

Oh, and if you withdraw from your uni and are already in another college you can apply for deferments and you won't have to pay your loans until you graduate. The federal goverment is pretty leiniant when it comes to giving deferments so don't worry about that too much.
