A lot of them are, but there are those who are pretty conservative as well. At most Jesuit institutions of higher learning the Jesuits are pretty unorthodox, but Ave Maria in Florida has an amazingly orthodox one, and I think Dulles is pretty orthodox as well.

The same could be said of many of the major orders, however.
