I wish I could get up and start work west coast time, and then at about 9ish, head over to finish off my day east coast time, and then make it back here around 2 ish to be home! thessalonian
First off why with men does it have to be one or the other? They are historical accounts though I would not say that we need to hold them to infallible correctness in this regard. If we did there are some definite problems such as in Mathew's Gospel when it talks about the temptation in the Desert, the order of the last two temptations (the temple and the mountain) are reversed from Lukes account. I am no theologian but I understand that there is theological implications in the ordering of the temptations, that deal perhaps with who the writer is and what he wants to convey. The ordering also apparently is unimportant except in the message that the Gospel writer wants to convey.
