The one that stands out in my mind is the guy who wanted to know why older couples, or pregnant ones couldn't just have oral sex since they couldn't conceive anyway. We kept explaining over and over again, but he just wouldn't accept it. He left saying he was a new convert just trying to learn, and we were getting on to him. I think he was looking for permission from us to do something we can't give permission to, and left when he didn't get what he wanted.
Thanks for the reminder.... Autumn Dusk
Are you referring to the thread or the post? I have never read the etiquette sections. I was here before the invasion of barbarians and vandals. During those golden years, etiquette sections were unneccesary, and problems were resolved with pistols or swords. What do the etiquette posts say about jealousy?
So was i. And every internet community PM's age went through the same thing around the same time...and still is...thanks to wonderful faux emo kids with computer illeterate hilicopter parents. Typically a 12 to 18yo, decent grades who've done multiple activities since birth, rejecting their way of life and hunkering down with a computer....girls to forums, guys to gamerooms. Constantly typing POS as if their life depended on it then making a whole stink to the other faux emo about how bad their life is and how much it smells of elderberries to have parents who ask what they are doing. Nevermind that the parent is paying for the computer, internet and that new extra soft chair they wanted.

add
Sounds like a plot for a remake of a old sitcom, "The odd couple" Felix is a nagging, overprotective, manipulative, controlling, smothering, and overbearing mother, one who has to get involved in her kid's lives long after they have grown up, (played by Marie Janella Barone of "Everybody Loves Raymond"). Oscar is slovenly, know-it all, neurotic, emo kid; who can't see the forest for the trees and doesn't care about you, me or the cost of coffee because it's none of your business.
