He is Risen!

I usually say many times a day "hmmmm" (with a concerned look on my face), "how do you feel about that?" "would you like something to drink/eat?" "what size diapers do you need?"

Well, many of my "favorite" (read: most used) phrases can't be repeated here. I have a horrible mouth. :D

Here are some that can be repeated here:

Confusion -- It happens a lot
"Uhm"
"Err"

We speak some Spanish at home
"Vamos"
"Estas listo(a)?"

Family teasing
"You don't love me" -- Mom and Dad
"You smell" -- Sisters
"Your mom" jokes -- these are most ironic when directed at my sisters

Misc.
"Try me"
"Uh huh. Sure ..."
"Cool"
"Sweet"
"Score"

"Ei yi yi!"

I use this all the time. When I lived with Polish Franciscan sisters, I was outside the home watering the plants, and I heard a sister in the kitchen say it out loud in a very strong Polish accent. Before I knew it, they had all picked up this phrase and were using it everywhere! :topsy:

When someone says that something is not working or if someone says, "My foot hurts" or whatnot.

I say: Did you kick it? Do you want me to kick you? I never follow through.
