Gross Things You Can't Believe You Ate?
Oh, and I've also had "lengua de vaca" -- cow tongue. Very chewy and tender, like the softest steak that you've ever had, only better. I recommend it. Though having tastebuds on the meat that you eat can be a little unsettling at first; you begin to wonder if it can taste you.
My dad had cow's tongue in Germany when he was stationed there...he did not enjoy it if I recall. He said it was gross in so many words.

Yes, that was my first thought as well. However, it really didn't retain the 'foot shape', and there were no bones, etc. in the thing.

See, that's what the wiki entry was referring to. Mine looked a heck of a lot less like a foot than that.

I hate marmite!

Of course, the only time I've had it was while I was pregnant, but I don't think I'd like it anyway.
Sage Tea (nastiness in one cup ^_^ )
perhaps it is wise not to drink it then.

Anyone ever had brain and kidney pie I've always wondered what that was like.

There's a restaurant here in Nebraska famous because it sells Rocky Mountain Oysters. If you don't mind eating deep fried pig testicle, they're actually not that bad. It at least comes with shrimp cocktail sauce.

I've had those, too. They're pretty good with hot sauce.

I'm actually not sure of a better way to say that ...

This one time when my wife and I were still dating she tried to cook some fish for dinner and i'm pretty sure it was undercooked. She was so proud of what she made i went ahead and ate it so her feelings didnt get hurt.

and unsweet tea is delish. don't hate.
Amen. Sweet tea is enough to put me in a coma.
I wouldn't call any of it gross myself, but I've had blood pudding, haggis, whole squid, and octopus. Pretty much, as long as it's not a bug of some kind, pickled, or puffer fish, I'll try it.
I actually really like blood pudding and haggis. I don't have it that often, but I still like it.
Hmm, pickled radish? I mean, I liked it.
Maybe a year in Korea was too long... I think pickled radish is totally normal. lol Koreans eat it all the time, not just in kimbap. They often have it sliced in little rounds and serve it as a side dish (they have LOTS of side dishes). They have a couple ways of pickling it. The method that turns it yellow is most common, but I also ate some that was a bright lime green. I don't know what it was that made it that color but they told me it was all natural and part of the pickling process... truth be told I really couldn't tell the difference in flavor. (We ate them as a part of a spring roll type of meal.)
And pickled radish is good, when had in the right context. I had it in the Korean version of sushi (Kimbob, I think), and it really worked with the other flavours and everything.
I LOVE kimbap (for the record, your spelling may be correct in some areas, Koreans don't really have just one way of spelling anything; it gets confusing).

As for weird things I've eaten... aside from the things I noted above... little dried fish (whole), jellyfish (it doesn't really have a taste, but I hated the texture), squid... um... liver (I refused to try tongue)... I am sure there is more.

I know of some countries where live worms are a delicacy...although they use ground herbs and spices for flavor...hmm...maybe it isn't all that bad...

Yeah, I've done that twice. Thus why I don't believe in chicken any more. I didn't like it all that much before then, though.

OK. I loved kimbap the one time I had it. Though the girl I was eating it with did show me how to make it, so I guess I could do that sometime. Oh, and the pickled radish I had was the yellow variety.

I eat almost anything..... except brains.

I do enjoy a good Czarnina (duck blood soup) most people probably wouldn't enjoy that.

I used to gross out my roomates with my love of pickled herring, anchovies, sardines and canned salmon with the bones and skin in it. For some reason though the sushi addiction did not phase them.....

FUN times. ^_^

Mmmmm, I love fish.
