oh. sorry for the misunderstanding...no Carthusians at big sur. i just meant reading Carthusian materials/books in general for my monkish tendencies/reading/prayer. lol

The Camaldolese are Benedictines so they have the rule of St. Benedict. I was reading their rules for the Camaldolese Benedictine Oblates. Check it out. Very prayerful.
