Balthazor
I have a litany of bad experiences in O'Hare myself. Who hasn't?
I haven't! And I am a frequent flyer, I probably go through O'Hare at the very least four times a year and I average a little more than a flight a month. I have to say that though I have had difficulties and lay-overs I find if you are nice to people...... they are nice to you. I mean we all want the same goal in the end you have to look at it that way. I have to say that in Air travel I am never dissappointed no matter who I fly with. VeniteAdoremus
Schiphol/Amsterdam = love. I live 15 minutes from there so I'm always the designated MeetYouAtTheGate-er for my family and extended friends I can't remember how often I've waited for people there... And apparently the direction signs there are so good that they've copied the system for JFK.

In about ten days' time I'm flying from Rotterdam. That'll be interesting. And landing in Paris. Even more so. Yikes, French! salterrae
JM + JT Atlanta is a zoo! We were stuck there a while on our way to LA and sitting at the gate staring at the never-ending crowds of people passing... and passing... and passing... isn't very fun. And don't get me started on Heathrow. Gatwick all the way!

God Conquers
Newark is the worst airport in the history of all life. Stansted was one of the coolest airports... I don't know why... I just liked it. A giant box with thousands of people being ushered quickly through the one hole of security... it was like a crazy pinhole camera.

As in it was after customs (which was done before I even got on the plane in Toronto). I mean, anyone could have walked in off the street and nicked my bags! Flying into and out of the airport near my parents' house is wonderful. You get in at Schiphol, this big, international, efficient airport (well it is Dutch after all) and step out at this cute little overgrown airstrip with avation-club aircraft on the grass next to the runway. More often than not the plane I've flown in on has propellors rather than "proper" engines...it's just cute
dominicansoul
My favorite all time airport has to be the John Wayne Airport in Orange County! It's cute. Nice people, good service, and aesthetically pleasing.

So small and quiant and you walk out onto farmer's fields.

The baggage belt just goes through the wall and is more like a porter service with a convenient x-ray check. And there are two - two! - passport controle boxes. Aviaton is great.
