Poor guys...I couldn't imagine having such a close-minded religion, where what you believe is decided by a watchtower....yeesh.

I believe that the Watchtower society is what determines what the Jehovah's witnesses believe, though I could be wrong....wouldn't be the first time :P

I want some fun. They never come around my neighborhood. :annoyed:

Hmm I have to plan out what I'd say and do...

Which reminds me of what my mom says my uncle did once. He got so tired of them coming early in the morning every weekend that he answered the door... butt naked.

They never came back.
In Ireland, we have Jehova's Witnesses but we a re sorely lacking in Mormons.

Neither have come around my area though =[
Hmm, we have both here. The JW's have stopped me by campus and on a road close to my home to give me literature. The Mormons came to the door when Kieran was napping and my husband was working on a paper or something, so not a good time.

I dated a girl, for about a month, who was a JW. I think her parents saw me as the mighty corruptor as I got her to go to a birthday party with me where she had a great time. Any longer and I probably could have convinced her to go to Mass but that would have been a good sacrifice of my sanity to stay with her that long. I know we are all called to sacrifice but...

Good Times

They never come around to my door, though I know both are around. :( I'd honestly love to have a nice chat with them. You never know what just asking questions against what they believe when they're explaining it to you might do.

You could say...

If you were in the tomb where Jesus died and rose, wouldn't you be kneeling down in front of it and praying to God and honoring what Jesus did for you? Wouldn't you be all excited and at the same time overwhelmed at the feeling of being in the same tomb that the Son of God was buried and raised after 3 days?

Hopefully they'd answer yes to all of that...

So then you ask, so then how long was Jesus in that tomb?

They'd say...3 days.

You can tell them...If you would do all of that to a tomb that had Jesus in there for 3 days, then why don't you do the same for a woman that had Jesus in her womb for 9 months!
