phatcatholic
PhatCatholic has been a downright shining knight in armor toward you, treating you seriously, and is the example of a true Catholic gentleman. We both should be on our knees thanking God for the good will that man has! You should've already given him $10,000. IcePrincessKRS
Donna, If I didn't really answer, it would seem somewhat justified on your part. But I have answered everything so it seems you are not talking to me out of spite? Please tell me at least what I have not been clear on, and I will show you where I have already covered it.
Um..... quite the contrary you have not answered "everything." PhatCatholic has made posts of things he's asked you that you have not answered and you still didn't reply to them. I hate to point it out again, but several people have asked you to be clearer in your posts as they are really confusing. Maybe its clear to you because your the one who typed it (I know how that goes, I write things like that all the time) but it leaves alot of us scratching our heads. Stephen III
Hey all, I'm new here so I don't really know the history or the personalities of the posters, but from a cursory review, I'd say that Dairygirl has not been anything but a bit confused and imprecise in her quest of information. I think we should at least give her credit for sticking her neck out and being here in the first place. I do think very adequate answers have been forwarded by Ironmonk, PhatCatholic and others however. Perhaps she'll never aknowledge this, or perhaps years from now she'll feel obligated to pay up! Just a side note on some recent thoughts I've had on anger.: Have you ever wondered why anger is one of the seven deadly sins? It has occured to me recently that anger is a deadly sin (meaning an impediment to life!) because the effect is counter to the effects of grace. Where grace, when received and allowed to flourish perfects our souls, wills, and selves towards a Christ-like perfection, anger if allowed to flourish sets about a destruction of our souls, wills and selves, In as real a way that God's grace transforms us to be perfect as Christ is perfect, anger transforms to something not recognizable as Christ. Christ is true life, truly perfect and we are called to this perfected state and to Life as adopted sons and daughters of God. Anger is deadly in this sense. ......Bottom line, I prefer to keep things light, and show as much charity as can be mustered in my dealings particularly with non-Catholics! That's sometimes hard to do for such a hypocrite as myself. -_- God Bless Steve

I hasve a problem with anger sometimes, and I think my family could benefit from this little nugget of insight. Thanks again.
Stephen III
Gosh, That is humbling!...(Down pride..down) It does make you wonder....What if everything we wrote was scrutinized as potential refridgerator material for a families consumption...OR even just what material might be collecting of ourselves on that Big Refridgerator in the Sky! Thank you! God Bless Edited March 5, 2004 by Stephen III

dairygirl4u2c
I think you guys need to realize that you all would be saying that I am the one answering and you are the one not if you were on my side. If Donna was on my side, she would have been reading into Ironmonk and thinking he is mad. (if I typed in caps, said belittling things like "I don't think you know how to reason" even if I didn't mean it for the sake of insult, or said I should take classes in economics to believe his political view, or said you all make me sick, I don't think you would think I was being a gentleman) This is all why I say he is a lil rough around the edges, I know he's probably not mad, just upset. Of course we all get upset and that's justified. usually Edited March 5, 2004 by dairygirl4u2c
phatcatholic
dairygirl, i could make an entire thread of all the questions and arguments i have posted to you in differnet threads that you have never answered. but, i'm not sure if it would be very christian of me to call u out like that. i do want u to know that this isn't about sides. by reading ur responses, it seems as if u just gloss over what i post w/o really trying to understand it. you may not be doing it on purpose, but it is still somewhat trying. we police each other around here. if a catholic member of the pham says something offensive, we usually respond. actually, ironmonk probably catches heat more than anyone here. personally, i haven't seen the "u need to study economics" or the "u make me sick" remarks, so i can't speak on those. i just want u to know that we try not to be biased here. i hope this helps............pax christi, phatcatholic

I always check my e-mail for reported content before I ever even come to the phorum. I want a heads up of threads that are getting out of hand so I can take care of the problem asap. If you see something thats offensive then report it! Thats what those little buttons are for. The first portion of PhatCatholic's post is what I was getting at in my previous post, though. When out-right questions are ignored and someone expects all of their questions answered in return I think that thats unfair at the very least. I think that there are alot of ligitimate questions posed on both sides of the debate but the only one I see answering everything he possibly can is PhatCatholic (with the help of a few others, but mainly PC). If you ask for evidence of A and its given and then they ask you B, you don't answer B but bring up C..... do you get what I'm saying?
dairygirl4u2c
phatcatholic, i could make an entire thread of all the questions and arguments you have posted that had were beside the point and when I answered them you finally started to see my point or moreso were redundant from lack of conciseness from differnet threads that I answered. but, i'm not sure if it would be very christian of me to call u out like that.
