Rising_Suns
Ave Maria. I am not entirely sure if such a thread exists, but I thought it would be nice if everyone could post their favorite Catholic movies/documentaries for inspiring vocations. If you can, please also include a link/picture, like this; Title: Scarlet and the Black Link: www.amazon.com/Scarlet-Black... Blessings. Laudem Gloriae
Sorry, no links or pictures but then these movies are well-known: "Passion of the Christ" "Miracle of St. Therese" - 1950's black and white French movie - the best movie on St. Therese "St. Teresa of Avila" also known as "Teresa of Jesus" - now on DVD shown on EWTN "Teresa of the Andes" - shown on EWTN "In This House of Brede" - helped me when I was young and still love it "The Nun's Story" - helped me as a kid too, but didn't like when she left! "Francis" - Italian movie, fairly new "St. Anthony" - Italian movie, fairly new "St. Clare of Assisi" and "The Poor Clares" - on one DVD - not a movie but an excellent Italian documentary "Francis of Assisi" - old 1960's? movie with Bradford Dillman and Dolores Hart "Berndette" - not sure of the name?, the old b&w movie with Jennifer Jones "The Bells of St. Mary's" - and wasn't there another one? "Into Great Silence" - documentary "Edith Stein" - not sure of the movie, German made I believe, EWTN has shown at times, also on DVD "Mother Teresa" - various movies - one with Olivia Hussey and Geraldine ??somebody, forgot her name! "The Real Presence of St. Therese" - documentary "St. Therese of the Infant Jesus - An Echo of the Heart of God" - documentary Ok, enough for now!
