Justin86
Since when does one have to say anything elitist to be an elitist?? McCain didn't even pay all of his taxes on his seven homes for the past four years.. Maybe he couldn't scrape together some funds from his wife's beer inheritance enough to join the rest of us Americans in paying our taxes.. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/06/28/m...x_n_109785.html You had said: My point was that this is not common among only Chicago politicians.. I don't need to "do a little research." I'm from the area and I know about dirty Chicago/Cook County politics. If anything, Obama is the same old political game we see in any typical politicians, not just those in Chicago.. Don't try to belittle my posts, Justin..
If you don't want me to "belittle" your posts than explain what you mean instead of making unsubstantiated comments. Until then, expect "belittlement" as you like to call it. In either case, I still think that if you think Obama is our typical election year politician your too absorbed in Chicago politics to see a difference. Oh, and I knew you came from the Chicago area when I first replied to you. You have where your from in posts.

Was I to assume your ignorance as to how a person might be considered an elitist? You were the one expecting a McCain quote that would show that he is an elitist, rather than realizing, on your own, that one can see this attitude through actions and not merely through words. Regarding the Chicago comment, you are once again dodging the issue. You told me to 'do some research" before posting on here. I was responding to that. Once again I had to assume what knowledge you actually had based upon what you had said. I had to assume you didn't know I was from the area and might actually know what I am talking about. Also, I am curious as to what you believe the character of a "typical election year politician" to be.
KnightofChrist
This tat between brothers, Justin and Didymus has diddly squat to do with the topic at hand. White Knight
Reguardless if this is a joke or not, its still an all time low for the Liberals to use this in the way they are doing so, its sick, its not funny, and I find myself having a pretty good sense of humor, theres not a ounce worth of comedic worth in this attack. Liberals & Conservatives will lose in November, Moderates will win America is sick of extremes on both parties.

pan!c139
That peice is very funny, it's what I've been thinking for a long time. The media proclaims Obama as the savior of America - it's a bit scary; it makes me think of the antichrist.
Mercy me
Obama is a bit much for me. Yesterday according to the Washington Post he told congressmen the following:
Inside, according to a witness, he told the House members, "This is the moment . . . that the world is waiting for," adding: "I have become a symbol of the possibility of America returning to our best traditions." As he marches toward Inauguration Day (Election Day is but a milestone on that path), Obama's biggest challenger may not be Republican John McCain but rather his own hubris.
This is the link.
Justin86
That is way over the line. The media is already acting like Obama is the President. Since when did the United States stop holding election and start having coronations?
