Obama Afixes Image @ Temple Wall

With all due respect, there's a topic? I've seen comparisons of Obama with Hitler. I've seen Obama called the Anti-Christ. I've seen Obama's personal faith attacked, and allegations that he wrote a prayer to Satan...

I've not seen pretty much any actual discussion for a while outside of personal attacks, if they can be called discussion. I've seen an utter lack of Christian charity, outright lies about Obama and those who are not here to defend themselves, smears, slander (although since this is written, libel), and viciousness. Granted, I'm no angel here, and I could easily be called a hypocrite for suggesting this, but why not just close the thread? (Not a criticism, just a question.)

At most Obama is -- like anyone else who denies fundamental aspects of the moral law -- an anti-Christ.

Of that I most certainly can agree. However, an anti-Christ is not the same in this case as The Anti-Christ. At least IMHO.

That was my point. Though the fact that he holds positions on moral issues that are at variance with the divine and natural law, scripture, tradition, and the teaching of the Magisterium understood diachronically and not merely synchronically, makes it impossible to vote for him for president.

Although to be technical, McCain isn't much of an option either. More of a palatable one though. If I recall correctly though, you're not voting for either?

Personally, I most likely will not vote Obama. Lack of experience on foreign policy and national security, his pro-choice views, amongst other minute things. There are a good number of reasons not to vote Obama outside of spiritual ones (but in no way do I belittle them, as any voting Christian should have them close to mind in the booth.)
