salterrae
JM + JT Before this year's WYD I loved watching the little clip of the Australians in Cologne, Germany finding out that their home would be the next host, but once I heard the Holy Father say 2011 in Madrid, Spain I was too excited to watch. I'll catch an encore to see the Spanish youth's reaction. I only caught a little bit of them waving some flags. I hope these won't be the slowest 3 years ever! OK, so it's now my mission to get chosen to have dinner with the Holy Father. Time to make some friends with the right people in my archdiocese. Wouldn't it be great for an American with Spanish descent to represent North America? I just need to brush up on my Spanish.

I find the German-jewish,engish-protestant,irish-catholic,bible-belt-living, convert group to be underrepresented...

And I can pull out a lot of heritage cards: Argentinian, Spanish (as in Spain), Italian, Irish, and a few others that the family isn't too sure about.
