salterrae
JM + JT I risked taking a shower right after the Kyrie. Thank God for the Gloria. Now I'm settled in. Waiting for that announcement during the homily.

Maria Faustina
I've never heard the Gospel chanted like that. Is that one of the things Pope Benedict wanted to change about the current Mass?
salterrae
JM + JT Oh, forgot it was a Confirmation Mass.
I've never heard the Gospel chanted like that. Is that one of the things Pope Benedict wanted to change about the current Mass?
They've done that at Rome before. If I remember correctly, the deacon did so when Pope Benedict consecrated a few bishops a few months ago (or longer). Cardinal Pell is reading the names. I find this more appropriate than Msgr. Marini doing so as, if I remember correctly, the released Sacramentary said he would. Edited July 20, 2008 by salterrae
Vincent Vega
They took away EWTN from my grandparents' cable this week. I'm p off'd.
salterrae
JM + JT FamilyNetwork takes over my EWTN channel between 8 AM and 8 PM. So I'm watching online. At my grandmother's apartment, some Jewish network takes over sometime in the afternoon but EWTN comes back later in the evening. Quite annoying. Hmm. I wonder when he's going to announce it. Did he do so already at an event before the Mass? Patience... Edited July 20, 2008 by salterrae
