Well, vocation retreat was shot down. My mom is completely against it because of plane ticket prices and me being new to college and so already worried about school work. So yeah, maybe next year *sigh*

Please, [b]DON'T give up hope[/b][color="#FF0000"][/color]. I have found that with God, timing is everything. God has to line up a lot of differant people before He can grant our requests.

The old saying "The reward is worth the sacrifice". has gotten me through many a narrow space.

Thomist, thank you for the link. I have seen a video interview of Fr. Don about his conversion story, but it was through St. Joseph's Communications, so I'll have to look at the link you posted later.

EWIE, thank you as well for your encouragement. I am not giving up hope, but just trying to find out what it is that God wants in other ways, namely Mass and Adoration. I am going on a visit to a Benedictine Abbey in 2 weeks, so we'll see what God has in store for me while I'm there (and it's over the Feast of the Assumption, so it could be interesting, lol!)
