I got as far is "72 AMC"... and instantly imagined that it was orange. Ah, the 70s......

My first car was an 83 Toyota Corolla.

I'm 17 and still have my two feet and public transportation. <_<

But quite frankly, I think the only thing I'd enjoy about having my own car is the ability to go anywhere anytime. Other than that, I don't see the big hype about having a car.

I don't remember what my parents got me for my 15th birthday. Definitely wasn't a car.

I didn't get a car until halfway to 24.

(giggles as everyone checks her profile and does the math...then groans because they can't figure out the math)

Yep, I got my own car very recently. Its a 2000 and its a pain in my butt, but it gets me where I'm going.

And salterrelli at 17 you don't have much need for a car, especally if you live in a town with public transportation. At that point in your life unless you're emancipated your main job is higschool...even part time jobs aren't really *that* serious. Even in college I was glad I didn't have a car becuase it helped me focus...ok, so I had two jobs, sometimes three...but they were on campus so I didn't need a car.

Now that I'm on my own my car is my freedom and my ability to see other humans I like. Its SO much different than HS or College days.

Saint Christopher, Protect us! ( http://saints.sqpn.com/saintc05.htm )

Congratulations, I admit I am a little jealous... I still miss the first car that I learned to drive in and practically was mine, my little black 1997 Mazda Protégé. After all the things I did to it I was convinced that if I ever fell off an over pass in that vehicle I could of died, but surely all the emergency workers would have to do is drive it off the scene, nearly indestructible I thought.

Keep good care of it and of yourself while in it, not that you need reminding. This may not be surprising that I ask this, but please do be kind to cats on while driving.

I have no car, and will have no car until I have enough money to buy a car by myself. which isn't going to be any time soon. but that's okay. :) I don't need one yet...

Idk what I got for my 15th birthday (wasn't the greatest b-day for me), but for 16 I got tickets to Les Miserables. My brother turned 16 yesterday and he got tickets to it, too. I'll be coming back from college in September to take him. sweet. :)
