Jaime
Jamie I'm interested in hearing what you have? Saint of Virtue... congrats on the new epi... I have looked at them, but have always wanted to save up the money for a gibson LP. I have a Gibson LP DC, but I would kinda like a standard LP and a Marshall 40 watt. Post pics!
I mostly play acoustic. My main guitar is an Olson. When I played professionally I used a takamine Santa Fe for my stage guitar. Back then taks had the best preamps built. I gigged with my electric for a while but mostly that was subbing in traveling bands when their guitarist was mia. I have one of the first Jacksons built. its an awesome guitar from a vintage standpoint but I hate the floyd rose trem

It plays real nice and fast... it has the floyd rose on it to though. Its amazing when it works, and its a pain when it doesn't. I can't really decided where to tune it; I like to play van halen on it, but the Eb tuning limits it so much. I have never bought an acoustic. I have thought about it, but realized that this is an expensive hobby to sink money into if I'm not going to be playing every night.

But I'm more into acoustic stuff and there are a lot of folks who aren't.
SaintOfVirtue
I got an acoustic the same day I got the electric. How do you post pictures that aren't from a website? I know a few people wanted to see some pictures but I don't know how to post pictures that aren't online.
Jaime
well there's two ways I guess. One, they are so new, you could probably find promotional pics of your guitars on the web or b. You could open a photobucket or flikr account and upload them. what's the acoustic?
icelandic_iceskater
orrrr if you have a facebook... (I just figured this out a few days ago) make an album for your guitar on facebook right click on the image and click "Open image in new window" (at least thats what it says on a mac" then use that url. Another interesting thing about the acoustic is it has a removable nut! It scared me at first because the first thing I did with it when I got it was restring it and when I was taking the strings off the nut plops on floor and siting there going, "Ooh &$%@." I noticed it looked like there had never been glue on it to begin with. Checked the internet and found out it was made like that to raise and lower the action, good thing to because if I hadn't been able to raise the action it would still be buzzing. Jesus_lol
well, someone needs to start putting up pictures of their guitars! white one is an 1991 ibanez rg560, that i have modded(new electronics, p/u splitter, new bridge pickup) and repainted. it has a nice floyd style Ibanez trem, i know exactly how to workit, fix it, tune it, but it can still get in the way of my playing. oh well i love it anyways. black one is a recent ESP LTD ex260 "explorer". great for heavy sound(i have .11 strings on it, very "ballsy") and downtuning. also with its fixed bridge it can make some very nice blues lead parts. despite being primarily metal guitars, the ibanez has one of the most versatile set of sounds in a guitar, that i know of, and both have beautiful clean tones. Nihil Obstat
I play a Japanese Squier Strat (meaning the good kind!) but someday I'm hoping to get a Gretsch archtop. I love those White Falcons... Like my favourite thing ever.
