That's actually a good question. I know that women who have breast augmentation are unable to breast feed, but if you have a mastectomy, are you like a flat chested woman (as my aunt was but produced so much milk she had to wear a bra stuffed with handkerchiefs), or have you completely lost the ability to produce milk? I imagine she will go back on male hormone immediately so it is probably moot anyway.

I remember seeing this story a while back.

I am unsure what to think. The woman have a parital sex change operation, and left all the mommy parts "just in case". I can understand wanting to have a baby but this just seems to violate the natural order of things.
I suppose that this woman found a way to have her cake and eat it too.

I just wish that instead of medical technology being used to help a half man-half woman conceive a child using two sets of XY chromosome, that it could be used for real diseases and problems in the world. Like lous Gerig's disease or MS.....
