johnnydigit
i'm on a p3-800mhz/512mb (don't ask) and firefox 2 would get very laggy with multiple tabs. firefox 3 is amazingly fast. unfortunately some addon's don't work yet but the tradeoff is worth it. jeffpugh
yeah. I've tried it whilst playing w/ my linux. It's nice. I'd recommend it. I might switch over soon on my windows portion.
Deus te Amat
I just got a new lappy and installed Firefox 3. This thing is extremely fast so I haven't yet noticed a difference between IE7 and Firefox 3 on it, but I haven't really used it much. I do like the automatic spell check though. Any tips? dustthouart
On my old, junky laptop, which I usually ask to do too much, Firefox 3 is noticeably faster than Firefox 2. ::
Lounge Daddy
Yes! I love Firefox 3. On my ubuntu linux it runs fantastically fast. And I like the live search of my history that runs as I type something into the address bar. The google toolbar was recently updated to run on the new firefox, as well. And now I am a happy man. SaintOlaf
I just bought a new computer and am using Opera (had FF2 on my old one) Opera is silly fast also... I may have to check out FF3 and see which I like better.

DemonSlayer
I'm still not 100% sure about firefox 3.
johnnydigit
it's been great, but lately sometimes the forum here gets all jacked up with most of the table formatting being lost. no problems in IE..
SaintOlaf
Check out Opera, I've been using it for over a month now and it runs great, and is in my experience faster than the FF3.
Balthazor
I have both IE7 and FF onmy laptop. I switch depending on the website. I am fickle.
jeffpugh
I'm solely a firefox user. I'll never go back to IE. Never!!!
IcePrincessKRS
I only use IE for websites that firefox doesn't cooperate with. Like, my bank... I can check balances and stuff, but if I want to do an electronic check deposit firefox won't load the page properly, despite the latest versions of java. I have to switch to IE. I really prefer the way firefox is set up, though, and use it as my primary browser.
