Archaeology cat
OK, I've been asked to go to a matinée of Prince Caspian on Friday, which would mean taking Kieran with me. He's nearly 7 months old now. So, any advice? Do I go or not?
CatherineM
If you do, get him ear plugs. The sound in movie theaters hurt my ears, so imagine his. Sit near the back in case he gets fussy, and keep him awake that morning, and feed him right before the movie, and he may sleep through the whole thing. Lucy Lionheart
bring a good blanket, movie theaters are usuallly very cold, especally during the summer and espeally for a baby
prose
I have never had problems taking children (especially at 7 months) to theatres. Just hope he is a bit tired, and he may even sleep all the way through. Our cousin brought her 6 month old to Prince Caspian last week and he slept through the whole thing. We had to leave a baptismal party a few weeks back because the music was too loud for me (Scousers know how to party), though it didn't seem to bother him as much. But still. And as for feeding him, he'll only eat when he wants to, doesn't matter when I offer. Hmm, it is possible, though.

Though it's supposed to be cooler and rainy that day anyway, so I'll have a blanket with me to begin with.
prose
Does he watch movies at home? Honestly, I have never had a problem. If you do, you can always take him out if he is too loud or fussy.

And he usually does well through them (we usually watch a movie together on Thursdays). So yeah, you're right, it should be fine. The one next to it looks like it'll come through soon, too.
Archaeology cat
Well, he did very well. He loved the stuff before the film (they showed a little clip from Cebeebies). During the film he ate & slept a bit, and played some as well. I had to take him out to change him, but that was it.
