photosynthesis
for Lent, I've decided that I want to start going to Mass every day in order to grow closer to Jesus in the Eucharist. Today, I went to a Saturday Evening Mass and recieved Holy Communion. I probably should have gone to daily Mass in the morning but...um...it was really early and i was really tired and stuff. Technically, I don't have to go to Mass tomorrow because this mas fulfilled my Sunday Obligation, but I also have been trying to get to Mass every day. Should I go to Mass tomorrow? If I do, should I receive Holy Communion?
Pio Nono
JMJ 2/29 - First Sunday of Lent photosynthesis, Going to daily Mass is a wonderful Lenten practice. Pertaining to your question, it must be answered within your heart. If you feel you are breaking your Lenten practice, then go to Mass. If not, then it is up to you. Going to Mass a second time can't hurt anyone. By the way, Holy Mother Church encourages us to receive communion at every Mass that we are able (so long as we fulfill the obligations - in the state of grace, fasting for an hour before reception, &c.). I hope this answers your question. Yours, Pio Nono
