cathoholic_anonymous
There are quite a few of us in Europe - me, VA, and PP are the regulars, but there are some others who don't post much or who have already found their home - who are glad to see European monasteries and convents being publicised. PM isn't just an American resource. Perhaps more European discerners will spend time on the phorum if they see more attention being paid to the communities over here. I love seeing different communities from around the world posted about here! We are a universal Church! Most of our monasteries in the US came from Europe. And I'm sure there are several more from Europe and abroad who come here to VS That video was wonderful to see! Thanks again, EJames! Then there's a second part here: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=a_7YUM6bSFw I really love seeing them make the Communion hosts with that machine! Theresita Nerita
The Reposoir looks beautiful! I doubt there are any hopeful Carmelites out there who haven't seen the following amazing videos on youtube, but if you haven't, check them out! My favorite is this one - so natural, so full of happiness! It's a four-parter so it will eat up your afternoon. Then there's this one, for all the french-speakers on this thread with english subs! woot. EJames, Do you know which Carmels in France are the 7 more traditional ones, not associated with a federation (besides the one in Ars)? Also, I saw in the Brothers/monks photo thread that you posted several pics of the Communaute St. Jean. Do you know them well?
