I'm the youngest of two children.

I just baby-sat for a family of seven children and I loved it.

If I get married, I'll definitely take as many children as the Lord blesses me with. I'd like to have at least five, but probably no more than seven... but, like I said, I'd take as many as given to me!

I think after about 5 the chaos remains at relatively the same level...at least until you hit double digits, but that's just from my casual observation.

I'm hoping for a lot of kids myself!

Youngest. One of four.

Voted "not sure" on the number of kids. I will have whatever children we can provide for and how my health would hold up would be a factor as well. Realistically, marrying at 32 and given some health issues I have, it probably won't be a very large number.

But I trust God's plans whatever happens. He knows what my limit or abilities are.

I'm the youngest of 3, and my husband is 4 of 5. I'd love a large family, and have always said I'd like at least 5 or 6, but we'll see what God gives me. I honestly can't wait to have another one, though. :)

I am the oldest of 6. I will be married to the church. But I do love young people. Thankfully, my brothers and sisters will have children, and I will be a happy uncle

I am the second oldest of five, the first girl. I think large families are great. I feel sorry sometimes for my neice and nephew. No cousins on their dads side and only a couple on their moms and they have never met them. I grew up with oodles of relatives.
Sign of the times I guess.

Depends on what you're looking at. Many pioneer kids grew up in smaller families (because of high infant mortality rates) and didn't have cousins around. The ethnic groups in this country and the baby boom affect changed that view of family, but many times making a living in the US meant going far off on your own, to your own farm or to a town with a factory. And even realitives 15-25 miles which we wouldn't blink at traveling today would of been far enough to only merit an annual visit.

Yes, you are right. I know that my dad only had one sibling but, his mother had nine. All of them lived on farms around each other so when I would visit my grandparents (like every weekend) there was always family everywhere you went. My great grandparents were immigrants from Germany to Wisconsin. (Mary and Joseph were there names.) They were Catholic.
My moms parents weren't Catholic and they had ten children. Their kids were all spread out over Wisconsin or in the military but, there was usually always someone down visiting when we went. I loved it. I just wish my neice and nephew had that kind of extended family connection.

I have two older sisters and two younger brothers......I enjoyed growing up in a full house. It was never quiet or empty...until now. I talk to my brother and sisters and mom everyday...except for Alex (in Afghanistan) We are all now in our 30's, except for the baby how is 23. But now my mom is in an empty house..... :(

I always wanted a big family. I think that I have one. 2 boys and 2 girls. I like seeing them play together and talk every day. They are never lonely. The noise isn't great all the time ....when there is whinning and crying but I love to hear the giggles.

Knightec only has a sister and he is the one who will put a halt when it gets too loud....or he may hide in our room and PM alot. I think that he had to get use to all the noise...but I think that he gets overwhelmed at my moms sometimes.

My family has gone from 7 when I was young to 20 in the last 10 years. I love it ....but he sometimes skips the Sunday get togethers.

Eldest of six :))

Crazy life sometimes, let me tell you. Carazy!

I am not sure how many kids I want. I figure I am going to leave that to God. Let Him take control of that :)
