For me, outside the U.S., it would have to be, in no particular order, Madrid, Paris, London, Barcelona, Lourdes, and Rome.

And inside the U.S., it would be Washington, DC and New York City.

For me it's Germany or West Germany as it use to be called. I went when I was in Jr. High when the Berlin wall was still in place. It was the creepiest thing to know that there were soldiers in boats on the otherside aiming guns at you if you crossed a certain line. Thank God they brought down the wall!

Last summer I want on a crusie to Cozemel (misspelled) Mexico. The island was so pretty I loved it. Also the Carebbien Sea is one of the prettiest bodies of water I have ever been on.

Thy Geekdom Come

Either the Vatican City or the Island of Capri...

The first I recommend for a "priestly honeymoon" (celebration of recent ordination) and the second I recommend for a real honeymoon...it's a beautiful place...go to the Lemon Festival in mid-June and be sure to see the Blue Grotto...

The coolest place I have ever visited is the Republic of CAMEROON in Western Africa. It was the most powerful and life-altering place I've ever been. I never knew that people could love so much. WOW.

They're also overwhelmingly Catholic. Little FYI.

I have been many places....

My favorite trip has to be the three weeks I spent in Rome. I loved it. I really had time to appriciate that there is more there then the Pope. Anyone going please let me know, and I will be happy to share my most blessed moments, and things I think are a definate.

I also love oklahoma. Don't know what appeals to a Canadian boy about that state but I have been there a good 6 times.

I have some pictures on my website (old and not updated) from some of my favorite trips....check it out. http://io.uwinnipeg.ca/~tmitche2/travel.html

Hey that's so cool. My wife's from Ica Peru. It's a wonderful little city. I've gone twice to Peru. But I haven't made it to Machu Picchu yet. Maybe next time.
