The best place I've ever been would have to be ....

... home. :D

But the best place I've ever traveled to is Rome. I didn't want to leave!

Other beautiful places:

The UP of Michigan

Door County, Wisconsin

Wyoming

Colorado

Niagra Falls (the Canadian side is WAY better)

Places I have yet to see but want to SO MUCH:

Ireland

New Zealand

England

LumberJack, do you live in the Us?

as long as you count California as part of the US, yup.

I know some people consider it "its own planet"

^_^ ...but thats okay.

I'm in the Navy.

YOU GOT AN ADMIRAL, THEN!

as long as when you say "teaches" you mean the Bible, we're cool!

"with just my Bible, a kitkat, a snare, plus the Trinity..."

Best place I ever traveled to, eh?

It's a tie between New York City and Guttenberg, Iowa. Guttenberg is where my great-great-great-grandparents settled after migrating from Germany.

Best place I ever lived... I've lived in three different areas, and Austin would be the best of them.

I would have to say England and Scotland. The parks there are amazing! The churches MAGNIFICENT! It was definately an incredible experience!

ooooh wait I just remembered.... caribbean cruises are amazing too. You've never seen water so crystal clear and such an incredible shade of blue!

And when you go snorkeling its like you're swimming in a huge aquarium! It is WAY COOL!

You know I love Grand Rapids, Michigan  very very much (there's no place like home).

But to visit? hmmmmmm... I have enjoyed time in Wash D.C., and I like to just walk around Chicago. Chicago is a nice city.

Michigan's UP is also a nice place to get away from everything - and get in touch with God and your own quiet self.

I plan on visiting the Porcupine Mountains before I die - God willing. :P (... "issit ok with you God?")

My dh and I went to Italy in 2001 for our anniversary. Little did we know then that Rome would become our new "home." :D
