CatherineM
This is the 21st Father's Day without my dad. It's still hard. It was hard for my husband today too. He didn't know whether to stand up or not with the other dads at mass. We've had several miscarriages. It would have led to questions that are hard to answer. Deb
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afgiskKy-b8
Thanks for posting. I don't watch tv so I don't see commercials. My mom and dad went to Mass at my church last night with my sis and I and then after that we took them and my nephew out to dinner and showered him with gifties. I gave my Priest a home-made card and a gift cert to a religious book store. I was the only one with something for the Priest. I hope that wasn't inappropriate. I have no idea if half the things I do are appropriate or not for Priests. I look on him as my spiritual father. I tell him things I would never tell my bio-dad. Catherine. I think your hubby could have stood up in church. If anyone asked about kids, you only have to say you have a child or children in heaven. It is true. My the Lord Bless all Fathers! lilac_angel
Happy dad's day. I ended up getting my dad dad Jesus of Nazareth by Pope Benedict. I got my husband Answering the New Athiesm: Dismantling Dawkins by Wiker & the Hahnster and Ten Books that Screwed Up the World by Wiker. They arrived on Friday, and he's already finished with them. They were that good. And made fettuciiiiiiiiiini alfreeeedo. Our two year old got her dad a Penguin's hat, but she isn't aware of this.
