Delta Is Stupid!

I was trying to buy a plane ticket from them, but no! Apparently, my billing address for my credit card, the address I have lived at since I was 10 months old, is incorrect. Delta seems to think they know my address better than I! Not to mention, that then, as I'm fighting with this for about an hour, it then tells me that it's sold out! FINE! If they don't want my business I WON'T FLY WITH THEM! :furious: :madrant:

I tried every possibly variation of the address, and it worked on the Northwest site and the Southwest site, today. Delta just has something against selling plane tickets, apparently!

I guess if they are losing money with every flight, then, "the only winning move is not to play."

Northwest always messes up my flights. <_<

Always.

One time, I had four flights in three days. They messed up three of them. :annoyed:

Actually, they did that twice. I have bad luck with planes. :(

I've always had bad luck with Delta (they even lost our bags on our honeymoon; though that was a combined effort between them and Continental)

We find Southwest is best, least amount of formality yet efficient. After all, they are nothing more than a bus that flies...

Be so very thankful that they have all landed safely!

Have you ever been to Europe and flown Ryanair? If Southwest is a bus that flies, Ryanair is a flying cattle-trailer...

Sounds like a glitch with the website to me... I wouldn't get so personally offended.... :P

I could also be the vast right-wing conspiracy taking over America telling her what she can and can not do, knowing that she would give up in frustration eventually. We need a guy in a mask to save us.

we tried a few different times, I even tried using my computer, even tried my credit cards and it wouldn't work because of a separate issue...It worked on Northwest for a different ticket later in the year.

I know other people who have had trouble booking on Delta..

Thats one reason why all of my travel is typically done on US Airways, which has been around 4-6 round trips a year.

I used to fly Southwest a lot, love their customer service, but I got tired of driving 2 hours to catch a flight on them.

I've flown United a few times, ended up spending the night in a hotel in Denver because of them, of course they paid for it, gave me food vouchers, and a 100$ voucher for travel.

Northwest lost my bags once, but I got a free ticket out of the trip. (got the free ticket in exchange to take a later flight)

I've had my go around of airlines, and have found Delta to be pretty bad, which saddens me since my mother worked for them while pregnant with me, and I grew up flying them.

Oh well, if they don't want my money, not my problem, I'm willing to pay more to fly someone who hasn't screwed me over yet, or at least tries to make it better.

Try Southwest Airlines. They have the best record, and they are not going to charge you extra for the peanuts, sodas, or to use the bathroom on the plane...
