It's called "sex panther." It's got bits of real panther in it and it's illegal in 7 countries. They say 60% of the time, it works...EVERY time!

I love watching Everybody Loves Raymond... I've seen every single episode probally 3 times over (I own all the seasons). Each character always has someone else who is the 'one-up' to them, each individual has a developed personality, and whenever a certain situation arises in each new episode, it's hilarious to see the various reactions from each of the characters.

There are episodes where the women are right, some where the guys are right, and in the majority of them... where the outcome is more complex and is pretty much neutral or where both sides were right & wrong.

You appreciate the sitcom when you watch it from the beginning, and get to see how they develop over time.

"The Rating Board nevertheless may rate such a motion picture PG-13 if, based on a special vote by a two-thirds majority, the Raters feel that most American parents would believe that a PG-13 rating is appropriate because of the context or manner in which the words are used or because the use of those words in the motion picture is inconspicuous."

That makes sense, then... as society becomes more lax, so does the PG-13 rating. I just wish that people didn't think it was fine that almost anything goes for their under 13-year-olds nowadays...

No. IMO, they make the women (specifically Ray's wife) seem like a saint, while Ray, his brother and his father are portrayed as 3 hairs short of baboons. It's insulting. Everytime she's on the screen, I have to fight the urge to fling my sandal at the screen.

And, fyi, it's one of my roommates' favorite show and he has all the seasons. So I've seen most of them.

I took a girl out on a date to see that movie. We saw it and I actually broke out in uncontrollable laughter when
they all died at the end.
Seriously, it was dumb. Plus, one of the guys looks exactly like my father when he was younger, so that creeped me out.

It's a show about a severly dysfunctional family, so of course Debra would seem to be the most normal of the bunch (since she married into it).

About the shoe thing, I rarely get that urge with Debra, usually I get like that with Marie (the grandmother). I don't know, usually I dislike sitcoms that portray the men as 'stupid', but for some reason this series does it in a way that is tolerable and funny. I guess because it's suppost to be about a dysfunctional family, and not so much the cookie-cutter American family that a lot of sitcoms try to pass off, then it's understandable that some of the male characters are the way they are.

Some of the traits and elements from that show remind me of my own family and relatives in some areas, which I guess makes it hilarious to watch.

Debra is a controlling, sarcastic, mean-spirited woman who doesn't have the nerve to kick the loony mother-in-law out of the house and pull her husband into line. She's an idiot and she pisses me off to no end.

I still lift my head with pride in being able to say that I've never seen Titanic. Never wanted to, so I never did.
