Donna
Jim C. was the funniest! We laughed way harder w/ him on... I thought it was funniest with Mel Gibson, when he spoke very seriously of "Lightning Boy". Jay Leno, I thought, whenever maybe crossing into irreverent humor, reminded me of a little boy, kinda looking up to the sky and saying, "ulp...I'll try not to do that again!" It was very edifying, the whole 2 nights. Jay Leno told Jim C. that Mel Gobson is "such a goof ball"...and is unable to reconcile this with M. Gibson's genius. Jay Leno, I'm realizing, has a lot of courage in supporting The Passion of the Christ. Thank You, God.

Ash Wednesday
I'm pretty sure Leno is (at least nominally) Catholic. He sure makes a lot of jokes about his Italian heritage. I don't think he's exactly known for his devoutness though. I got to meet him in October, and I will say Jay was a really kind man and one of the hardest working in showbiz. I bet the Gibson/Caviezel show was great... Lightning Boy!!!!! ::
