Collapse Of Christianity, Islam Filling Void

One of those youtubes shows the local mosque in my town. I go in that area all the time- there is a huge mix of peoples in that area. It's not a 'no go' area at all. What is it with the media? :unsure:
What are these "no go" areas exactly?
They are areas which some fear to go in because the neighbourhood is predominantly Muslim. It's not the Muslims telling people they can't go in there. I have worked in many of these areas like Luton, resolving conflicts. Sometimes I have been intimidated and threatened, but it was only because of the work I was doing. No one should feel afraid to go there. Christians should move in there and revive the churches.

We had a huge pro-life walk today and we expect big numbers at our Corpus Christi procession tomorrow. Gotta stay optimistic.

The youtube video is just a report on the bishop's comments by Sky TV. That said, I do not believe that the news report was meant to support the bishop's contention; instead, I think it was an attempt to ridicule the bishop.

By asserting that "orthodoxy is on the rise" in the Catholic Church in Britain, you have implicitly asserted simultaneously that a non-orthodox position has been dominant in the country.

Sorry I was wrong then to assert that. :wacko: Actually, I shouldn't presume to know how to measure orthodoxy across a country. All the priests I have known in this country have been sound, and loyal to our Holy Father. Anyhow, there's little benefit disussing this I guess.

So I'll sign out of this with a hymn we sang today which encapsulates all that I believe in for the future of my country.
Faith of our fathers, living still,
In spite of dungeon, fire and sword;
O how our hearts beat high with joy
Whenever we hear that glorious Word!

Faith of our fathers, holy faith!
We will be true to thee till death.

Faith of our fathers, we will strive
To win all nations unto Thee;
And through the truth that comes from God,
We all shall then be truly free.

Faith of our fathers, holy faith!
We will be true to thee till death.

Faith of our fathers, Mary’s prayers
Shall win our country back to Thee;
And through the truth that comes from God,
England shall then indeed be free.

Faith of our fathers, holy faith!
We will be true to thee till death.

Faith of our fathers, we will love
Both friend and foe in all our strife;
And preach Thee, too, as love knows how
By kindly words and virtuous life.

Faith of our fathers, holy faith!
We will be true to thee till death.
