Colleen
i live in georgia and we got like an inch of snow last night.....no school! :D that's not fair! if we get 8 inches of snow and there's a -39 degree F windchill here in Wisconsin, they still make us go to school. <_<
rachael
i think we are a bunch of winter wimps. thats what i get for living in the south :D :P
Cesar624
HA! Like a month ago we got 16" of snow and wind chills in the negative degrees, and we STILL had to go to school. Here in NYC, it takes a disaster for them to close down the schools.

Iacobus
Colleen, I know the pain. I havn't got a snow day for over 2 years. I live in Northen IL. Last winter we had 6 inchs and a -32 degree windchill and still had school. One Friday night we had a bad ice storm. I could walk up a wheelchair ramp i just slid down. None of the school sports and events for that day were canceled. LOL. I need to move.

Rebirth flame
i've had my share of snowdays.... if we get anymore, we'll have to make it up in the summer... not cool...
Iacobus
We got a huge snow storm back in 1979. IL passed a law that said if we get more than 5 snow days in one year it is an "Act of God" and we need not make up more than 5 days. I just am waiting for more than 5 days off of school.
