I don't support everything Bush has done, but I still think him preferable to both Gore and Kerry, and don't wish Gore (incidentally another son of a politician born with a silver spoon in his mouth) had won, as you seem to.

My opposition to liberal Democrats concerns mostly their immoral and wrong policies, and has little to do with their wealth or privilege. It's you who seems to want to make everything about class warfare, and how rich and spoiled Bush is. Class warfare and the politics of envy has always been the specialty of the Left, anyway.

OK, I'll bite: with respect to "immoral and wrong policies," what has Bush actually done that sets him apart from liberal Democrats?

As for "class warfare," why is it wrong to point out how the rich and powerful use and abuse their wealth and concomitant influence while it is not "class warfare" for them to wield their wealth and influence like, well, a weapon? If I recall correctly, it was Lazarus who made it to Heaven while we all know what happened to the rich dude. May I direct your attention to the Epistle of St. James?

I'm still waiting for someone to show how Bush hasn't accomplished [b]anything[/b] in his life just like Hillary an Obama. So what if both sides do it a little, liberals do this a lot more.

I really find demonizing rich people to be the definition of lame.

I'm not "demonizing" rich people. I'm pointing out the vacuousness of throwing around the term "class warfare" whenever anyone raises the issue of wealth, privilege and political clout versus lack of same.

Bush did a couple good things for the pro-life movement. That's an accomplishment or two... but the only ones I can think of. Liberals do not "do this a lot more", that is a baseless statement that you make because you don't like the party.

I think what bothers me the most is that we always seem to be trying to find the lesser of two evils. Every 4 years, the parties parade out people who couldn't lead a little old lady across a busy street. I just wish one time that I could have a choice between two experienced, wise, intelligent, compassionate leaders, where I felt that even if I didn't vote for the eventual winner, that the country was still going to be well governed.

to poster above, at first i thought you said Jack Thompson, the guy who has been unsuccessfully trying to sue videogame makers and made so many violations and baseless accusations that he is forbidden from mentioning one company in public, and been disbarred. that would hardly be the person i would want holding the reigns.

you know how it is, the only people smart enough to run the country aren't dumb enough to get into politics.
