Lil Red
If you called it coke in the midwest, you'd get exactly that-coke. You see, it is pop, and always will be. POP!!!!!!! :P
Petrus
Let us consider objective truth... In the Natural Moral Law, God tells us certain standards of behavior. If these are not met, then it is called "evil." However, the good always will prevail. Therefore, pop is evil, becuase soda is winning in the poll!!! Thomas Michael
It's soda here in wisconsin Really? I went to Minnesota and Iowa a few years ago, and it was referred to as "pop" at all the convenience and grocery stores I went to. I drove into one town in Wisconsin (Prairie Du Chien), but didn't ask for any soda there, so you could be right.
Carrie
It's soda people. Here in NY, when you say "pop", it usually means someone is going to end up in a river with cement shoes.

Colleen
Growing up in Minnesota, it was pop! When I went to college in Wisconsin, my Milwaulkee friends got me hooked on saying soda (as well as bubbler, but that's a different story). So, even now I say soda... but I am among the few in this area. Hehe I know the history of the "bubbler." Evidently it was the brand of water fountains that was big in wisconsin so everybody now just calls it a bubbler. But I've heard they call it that in Boston, too. It's soda here in wisconsin Yeppers, and it should be that everywhere cuz it's right! :P
