Madame Vengier
With help from other bloggers, I posted quite extensively today on my blog about some of the relationships Obama has with America-hating, Anti-Semitic, Terrorist-pandering people and organizations. This is factual information, backed up with sources. Anyone who is interested in knowing who Obama is friends with, feel free to read: http://talkinjihadblues.wordpress.com/2008...ring-skeletons/
dominicansoul
It seems many people who support obama have no real clue who this man really is and what he stands for. A few months ago, he came to my university campus to speak. The kids were going wild for this man! It's because he is a very charismatic presence, especially to the youth. One of the young girls who went to see him was showing me the pics and vids she took of this event with her cell phone. I told her I wasn't voting for him, and I explained to her why. I told her about the murder that was going on in an Illinois hospital, where babies who were surviving their abortions and being born alive were taken to a hospital room and left to die in a plastic bag. New legislation came forth on the Senate floor to stop this. Obama voted against stopping it. He is all for infanticide. This young girl and the others in the office who overheard our conversation were all eyes and mouth. Their jaws were literally hanging off the hinges! They did not know this about Obama. Much of their enthusiasm for the man waned after this! Obama is not presidential material. He's a racist, hate (don't hate, appreciate)=monger who has the power to kill children with his votes. He isn't patriotic, and I think he is in this for his own personal agenda. He has no real concern for America. I think too much of his shaky background is slowly making it's way to the surface. We can only hope and pray that he will not be our next president.

Was having dinner with a girlfriend who is a Dem. She made the comment "Well, I'm going to vote for whoever the Dem nominee is, that's a given". When I told her she really knows nothing about Obama she wanted to know "what was so bad about him". I could have given her loads of info but her ability to intake is minimal. It would have been overload for her. I did mention his friendships with enemies of our country, but it was when I mentioned the infanticide that she suddenly looked shocked and appalled. She is a committed pro-choicer but the news that Obama is so far out there from even Hillary, that he FOUGHT for the right to kill post-birth babies...it got to her. Well, she flinched momentarily anyway. But I'm sad to say that I don't think it got to her enough that she won't vote for him. There are many like my friend, who have their heads in the sand. Our country is in real trouble, not because of our enemies but because we refuse to name and face our enemies.

Madame Vengier
Thanks for the links... *bookmarks both* I actually had read something so long ago and never saved it, glad to have the source again. I could never forget reading the quote where he said he just thought that if a woman went in to have an abortion and the baby survived that it was too cruel to make her carry that burden when she didn't intend to have the baby in the first place. I believe he used the word "burden". He was saying that the law should protect her right to have that baby aborted...even if the baby survived the abortion. So that's "abortion" after birth, i.e. 1st degree murder in cold blood. Monstrous. I agree with the liberals on one thing: the fixation over "Reverend" Wright was a "distraction from the important issues". They got that right. What the media and the American public SHOULD have been fixated on were making Obama speak out in a public forum about his baby-killing initiatives...and his elbow-rubbing with anti-American organizations and Jew-haters. The discussion of Wright would have fit nicely into that category. These are two major issues that have a drastic effect on the future of America, and he's NOT being held accountable for them in full view of the voting public. The act infant born-alive protection act would legally PROTECT infants that survive abortions - yet Obama voted AGAINST it when he was an Illinois state senator, even though his was the minority position - thus supporting infanticide. CatherineM
Had a discussion today that Hillary is trying to hang in there because some of the powers in the Demo party think she has a better chance of beating McCain. Don't know if I agree exactly, but I'm pretty sure if the big guys had told her to drop out, she would have by now, so they must want her to stay in the race. Someone also said that with Edwards jumping on Obama, that he might be wrangling the VP nomination for himself. What does that do to Obama's chances.
