Noel's angel
Personally, (and I'm sure most would agree with me) if I made loads of money because of an exceptional gift from God, I would give the excess to His Church. But then again, I don't know what she does with her money and it is none of my concern.

Galloglasses
What Church is she apart of? Was she baptised? With her mother being Athiest by the time she was born thats unlikely. Unless the Father had it done for her.
Theologian in Training
Why are these threads ignored until someone decides to spark controversy? If someone gets this thread closed I am not going to be happy. I was merely highlighting a little girl I discovered with an amazing talent, there is obviously something going on because a little girl, born to an atheist family, does not one day start talking about God for no reason. Besides, I don't see the problem, we are not the Church trying to determine whether her message is suitable for the masses, no one is flocking to her, worshipping her, holding candelight vigils for her outside her house, and she is not, from what i have read and heard saying anything that is leading people astray. Her message is simple, could not be any simpler, "I want my art to draw people's attention to God, and I want my poetry to keep people's attention to God." In other words, an instrument for what God wants and desires. If you listen to any of her interviews she never says I had this idea and decided to run with it, rather, she says God showed me what to draw and I did, and usually this is after a long time in prayer. Why can't we just enjoy her artwork without causing an argument over what she believes, how she believes, how she prays, what she prays, etc. She is a 12 year old girl with an extraordinary talent, which is clearly God-given, truly that is all we know about her, everything else is speculation and / or bordering on slander. Galloglasses
I was just wondering. Does God, these days at least, give visions to those who aren't baptised or a member of one of the Abrahamic Religions? Or surrounded by those who are or have been? Just a curious theological thing-a-jigger I thought of while reading this.

prose
I remember there was word out in the art community that they were frauds, but the art community tends to be wordly so they shouldnt be the ultimate parameter in judgment.
How can you be a fraud when you are painting on camera? Maybe you are thinking about the other child artist (whose name I forget) whose parents refused to let cameras watch her paint, and when someone observed her, the talent she had just seemed to disappear. There was a recently a documentary on this second girl, so maybe that is where the confusion is.
