His record looks pretty good. While you're at it, look at the voting records of our two democrats. Edited May 10, 2008 by Pontifex

LouisvilleFan
Do I even have to look? Their reputations precede them. For those few of us in states (like Kentucky) where the primaries haven't yet taken place, you should be aware that just because McCain has won the Republican nomination doesn't mean you can't vote for Huckabee, Ron Paul, or whoever else might be on the ballot. Huckabee is still winning 10-12% of vote with Ron Paul taking about 8%, which means nearly a third of Republican voters are going to the primaries simply to represent their position in contrast to McCain's. Of course, it could simply be a reflection of the fact that fewer McCain supporters will be voting because they know he's locked in the nomination, but every vote still counts, so you might as well represent yours as honestly as possible. CatherineM
Maybe these last primaries will help McCain choose a better running mate, and understand better what people really find important.
isilzha
I don't like him, but I'm pretty sure I'll end up voting for him anyway (although it really doesn't matter in Illinois).
LouisvilleFan
I like that he's been using his downtime to campaign in a lot of the poorest communities and neighborhoods in the country. They are often overlooked or only given token attention in the flurry of a closely contested campaign, so I think he's pretty smart to being doing that while Hillary and Obama are stealing the limelight. The election is going to be between two people... all other candidates are real... they're lucky to get 5000 votes. Of the 3... Obama Bin Lying, Hillbillery, and McCain... the closest to Catholic teachings is McCain.
