fides quarens intellectum
205. Unsubstantiated: i heard yesterday that more people visit Pike's Peak in a year than the Vatican. 206. You get to see all kinds of tourists, and some of them write things on their car windows - two i saw yesterday, both from Texas: "Colorado Bound" and "Colorado or Bust" - so cute. fides quarens intellectum
207. Even in the hottest part of the year, in the waning days of July, when it reaches 91F, you can still run and bike outside for two hours straight in the heat of the day and not die. fides quarens intellectum
208. Live here long enough and you become de-facto trail guided to tourists - they spot out the locals easily, since we tend not to be loaded down by huge packs and poles for short few-mile hikes.
