i am so glad i can read French.
If I remember correctly one says Ou est la toilette? when referring to a bathroom at a say a restuarant. One says Ou est la salle de bain? when asking in a home because la salle de bain mean "with a bath or bathtub" I'm not all together sure though, but I believe that's the way I was taught to distinguish the use of the terms. Vincent Vega
Maria
Pamplemousse is grapefruit.

Now if I could say "Banyo" in French!! I KNOW Banyo is Not a Banana..However I dance like that when i need the Banyo!!
I was about to tell a Hispanic couple after mass that they had a beautiful banyo, but since I wasn't sure what the Spanish word for beautiful was, I opted against (and thank God, I couldn't think of the word or I would have told them they had a beautiful men's bathroom instead of a beautiful baby girl!). I definitely agree that French is a romance language, and it does not sound Polish. I took French in high school and loved it. I've forgotten 90% of it, but when I start back at university next spring, I'll get to take some French courses! I remember things like Je m'appelle Jenny, but that's it! Weep!
