I can only speak for myself, a girl who in not Catholic but who goes by many of the church's teachings when I say:

In a weird, roundabout way I see a vote for Hilary as a vote for pro-life. I am pro-life and pray that one day abortion is illegal. But I don't see America getting there all in one step. If we limit abortion options (no partial-birth, etc.) and increase options for women and children, then hopefully we can see the abortion percentage go down and eventually illegalizing abortion can happen; because it would no longer be needed. I don't see a transition like this happening overnight, but I can see it happening.

To just outright ban abortion will make so many people feel like an essential right is being stolen from them, that it would just prolong negative attitudes and no progress will ever be made. Not to mention the awful concept of "back-alley" abortions taking place.

Also, I consider being pro-life to include all life. No death penalty, better health care options, and keeping our troops out of unnecessary danger whenever possible.
