kujo
My initial reaction was one of revulsion. Hillary Clinton is a slimy, serpentine politician who will go to the ends of the earth to get whatever she wants. Maybe Mary will work wonders on her. I dunno.... I have issues with people using our sacramentals to furthur their own pursuits of power (and destruction in her case,) but like everyone is saying, it could change her life! Mary may be working on her as we speak! We should help by saying one Hail Mary a day for hillary. Geez, if we all did that, she'd probably divorce Bill and enter a convent somewheres! Apotheoun
Hillary Clinton seems to believe that the presidency is somehow owed to her, and her constant desire for power brings to mind the old saying: "power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely." Jesus_lol
well, dont most christian faiths and offshoots(catholic, methodist, whatever) hold mary as a fairly significant person? i dont see why you would have to be a catholic to wear something like that. by that point, as long as she isnt violating her own faith to pander to another, it isnt so bad that she is putting on a catholic friendly face to the people she is speaking to. sort of like wearing a tie to an interview, even if you don't normally. first to admit i dont like hillary, (not so much politically, but she kind of creeps me out) but this shouldnt really be a reason to add more dislike to her. But I do see what you're saying.
rizz_loves_jesus
I thought most Christian denominations thought we were Mary worshipers. I know most certainly wouldn't put her on a bracelet.

Jaime
Would someone please explain to me why anyone should be against Hillary wearing something Marian or Catholic? I think, if we were going to look at this objectively, people would be supportive of it.
